I must have notched up live cooking demonstrations well into the thousands by now – they say, practice makes perfect! But while I truly find myself at home and in the zone on a live stage, every day and every event continues to motivate and inspire me.
I have always aimed to be as consummate and entertaining a chef demonstrator on the international food event circuit as it is possible to be. From hosting and guesting live speaker stages to chairing and participating in panel events, I have always strived to create the most convivial and relaxed live speaker environments to elicit the very best from speakers and interviewees. The aim is always simply to engage, inspire and inform an audience.
My relaxed, well-researched interviewing style has led to one-on-one interviews including Jamie Oliver, Heston Blumenthal, Hugh Fernley-Whittingstall, and Michelle Roux Jr, as well as many other high profile speakers from a host of industries and professions.
As a direct result of my transformational lifestyle change from committed carnism to plant-based Veganism, I aim to continue my live demonstration work to inform and inspire about the benefits to ourselves, animals and the planet of what can be, a truly fulfilling way of cooking and eating.
